Capte thinks of everything! To allow you to have a video that reflects your brand, Capte offers several subtitle customization features.
After editing your subtitles, go to the” tabswag”. Here, you can choose the font (you can download your own), color, outline color, background color, and position of your subtitles. You can even save your style to use it again for future videos.
Capte allows you to have videos that are unique and in your image.
A file .srt or subrib file is a format for exporting subtitles. It is a text file that contains the subtitles in text form and accompanied by timecodes. This subtitle format is the best known and the most common on the various platforms. YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter support it.
The.srt file allows you to have Closed Captions on your video. In other words, thanks to it, your audience will be able to activate or deactivate subtitles at any time.
To get a.srt file with Capté, subtitle your video as you usually do then go to the export tab. There, click the subtitle file button and select the.srt format from the dropdown list.
And for curious kids, the open.srt file looks like this!
No, nothing to do with biking! A.VTT or Web VTT file is a format for exporting subtitles. It is a recent format. It is a text file that contains the subtitles in text form and accompanied by timecodes. It contains more metadata than the.Srt file. Indeed, it takes into account the style given to the subtitles (color, position...) but most readers do not display them.
YouTube and Vimeo support the.VTT format.
Just like the.srt file, the.VTT file allows you to have Closed Captions on your video. In other words, thanks to it, your audience will be able to activate or deactivate subtitles at any time.
To get a VTT Web file with Capté, subtitle your video as you usually do then go to the export tab. There, click the subtitle file button and select the.vtt format from the dropdown list.
And for curious kids, the open.vt file looks like this!
The.srt and.vt files are two subtitle formats. They are text files. Only the.srt file is more common. The.vt file, on the other hand, contains more information on subtitles such as the style given to them. The.vt format is newer and not supported by all platforms.
The .srt file is to be chosen if you post your video on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube or your website.
The.vt file is to be chosen if you post your video on Vimeo, YouTube or your website.
The.srt and.vt files are two subtitle export formats. They are text files. They allow you to have Closed Captions on your video. That is, thanks to them, your audience can activate or deactivate subtitles at any time.
The.SRT file is more common. Also called SubRip, it contains subtitles in the form of segmented text accompanied by timecodes. YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter support it.
As for the.VTT file, nothing to do with cycling! A.VTT or Web VTT file is a text file that is similar to a.SRT file. However, it contains more metadata than the.srt file. Indeed, it takes into account the style given to the subtitles (color, position...) but most readers do not display them. YouTube and Vimeo support the.VTT format.
To get a.srt or.vt subtitle file with Capté, subtitle your video as you usually do then go to the export tab. There, click the subtitle file button and select the.srt format or.vt format from the dropdown list.
PS: this feature is only available in our subscription plans, or if you buy a single video for €10

1. Go to getcapte.com on your phone

3. A cartridge appears at the bottom of your screen, click on add Capture to the home screen as in the photo below
It is not possible to add a video larger than 2GB. But you can compress the video and then add it to Captured. You can use Handbrake which is a free application. https://handbrake.fr/
