To make a transcript video, you can choose between doing the work yourself by hand or with the help of software.

To make a video transcription by hand, you have to listen to the video and type the lyrics in a text file (example: Word, Google docs, notepad...). It's as simple as that, however this work is long and tedious.

You've got your video transcript and translation, you can make subtitles out of it. Subtitling is the display of the audio transcription at the bottom of the video image. Subtitle will allow you to make a subtitled and translated video to reach an international audience.

To do this, if you want to do subtitles by hand. Go to the notepad :

1. Copy and paste your audio transcript inside
2. Sequence your text using the video. And skip one line between each sequence.
3. Enter the input and output display data for each subtitle sequence as "00:00:00,100 -> 00:00:03,608".
4. Number each sequence in the order in which the video is displayed.
5. Save your document in .srt format

The .srt format is a subtitle format that can then be integrated into your video either directly on social networks (e.g. YouTube, Facebook...) or via editing software (import your video and then the .srt document). Making subtitles by hand is not very easy.
